Is Pingdom effectively dead/abandoned/stale/whatever? Seems slow and buggy and support is unresponsive.

I guess I already know the answer. So any recommendations for a similar product that will monitor endpoints as well as do simple "go to that URL, click the link, check for text" kind of scenarios? Doesn't have to be free. In fact, I would prefer to pay for it.

I use UptimeRobot. Never needed support from them. They seem to enhance/maintain the service.

Been using uptimerobot freely and it works good.

uptimerobot seems a little simplistic, and it doesn't have a transaction test.
